  ESA REGISTRATION & MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT

ESAUK helps people with anxiety, depression, or chronic stress, to connect with a mental health professional in order to get a recommendation for an emotional support animal (ESA). Emotional support animal prescription letters can help you bring your pet onto airplanes, housing, and shops with a no pet policy. The fee is £99.99 which covers the Doctor's Mental Health Assessment & Treatment Recommendation Letter, your registration in the ESAUK database that is accessible worldwide, two ESA identification cards with holders, a ESA Certificate, direct postage, administration and social media.

To Register a Emotional Support Animal, you first must Qualify for a Mental Health Assessment & Treatment Recommendation Letter.

If you qualify then ESAUK will issue you a letter from the doctor about your mental health and ESA treatment, two ESA identification cards (one for the ESA and one for the handler), a certificate and entry into the UK ESA database. A Mental Health Assessment is a psychometric and psychosocial assessment of your current emotional or psychological state to determine if a client qualifies by having mental health issues. A treatment recommendation letter for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is included for clients who qualify as emotionally/mentally disabled. The health professional's we use are UK Doctors and their Mental Health Assessment fee is which is combined with the Registration fee.

Many people suffer from some form of anxiety or fear that can be alleviated by having their pet close by. However, it is not enough to merely tell the airline that you feel better when you fly with your pet, or to have your pet wear a special vest or badge. You must have a prescriptive letter from a Qualified Doctor stating your need to have an Emotional Support Animal with you when you travel, shop and also for accommodation.

Some of the conditions that would lead to a diagnosis of a need for an Emotional Support Animal are as follows:

+ Anxiety (Specific or Generalized)
+ Depression or other mood disorder
+ Phobias (including social phobia and fear of flying)
+ Panic Disorder

And any other psychological disorder recognized by the DSM V (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders)

The ESAUK works with Medical Health Professionals around the country who understand that not everybody is willing, or able, to make the commitment to long-term therapy, but can nonetheless have some relief of their symptoms by traveling with an Emotional Support Animal. These professionals will evaluate you online through a brief (approximately 30 minutes) questionnaire designed to identify and diagnose DSM V psychological disorders. Upon review of your test a licensed medical health professional will determine if you meet the criteria for a DSM V diagnosis. Once a determination is made that you meet the criteria for an Emotional Support Animal, a prescriptive letter will be emailed within 48 hours. A hard copy version will be mailed the in the next 4 business days with identification cards and certificate.

In the event the medical health professional determines that you do not qualify for a prescriptive letter for an emotional support animal your fee will be fully refunded.

All of your evaluation test answers are NOT permanently on our system, they are sent direct to the medical health professional. All that we keep is the name of the patient, copy of letter and animal information.

No public or private entity (motels, restaurants, stores, trains, taxis, buses, theaters, parks, beaches, libraries, zoos, etc.) are required to allow your ESA to accompany you, and in all other instances, your ESA has no more rights than a pet. That means they aren’t protected by law to accompany you into any public place that does not allow pets, like a service animal. That doesn’t mean these places won’t let you, it just means that they are not required to, by law.
